Hamas Leader Dares Israel to Invade Amid Gaza Airstrikes

GAZA CITY — The top leader of Hamas dared Israel on Monday to launch a ground invasion of Gaza and dismissed diplomatic efforts to broker a cease-fire in the six-day-old conflict, as the Israeli military conducted a new wave of deadly airstrikes on the besieged Palestinian enclave, including a second hit on a 15-story building that houses media outlets. A volley of rockets fired from Gaza into southern Israel included one that hit a vacant school.

The Iron Dome intercepted two Iranian-made Fajr-5 missiles aimed at Tel Aviv on Saturday. The missiles marked the third attack on the heavily populated central city in as many days, after Palestinian terrorists from Gaza fired four missiles toward the financial capital on Thursday and Friday, prompting red alert air raid sirens to sound in the city.

 

Reports: Rockets Fired From Egypt Hit Israel After Egyptian PM’s Visit to Gaza

Rockets launched from Egypt reportedly hit Israel Friday night, potentially opening a new front in the back and forth assault between Israel and Hamas militants in the Gaza Strip.

“Terrorists in the Sinai Peninsula launched rockets into Israel Friday night,” the Jerusalem Post reported. “The rockets fell near an Israeli village on the southern border, causing some damage, but no injuries.”

SIREN ROARS IN TEL AVIV, ROCKETS STRIKE CITY SUBURBS. Residents scramble for bomb shelters along Israel’s central coastal cities

TEL AVIV – For the first time since the 1991 Gulf War, a siren today went off in Tel Aviv warning of a possible incoming rocket and sending residents scrambling to their bomb shelters.
An explosion was heard by KleinOnline in Tel Aviv. An explosion could also be heard in the neighborhing city of Bat Yam, according to residents there.

Report: Rockets Fired from Egypt Hit Israel

Two major Israeli newspapers are reporting that rockets fired from Egypt have hit Israel.
